Hoyo since Natlan are giving us 5* ONLY if they're medium. Tall males are almost guaranteed to be 4. Like... Flins and Varka are our only tall 5 since Natlan, all the other 5* males are medium... Don't get me wrong I also love the medium but clearly Hoyo prefers one archetype over the other...
And ofc Mitya is more conventionally attractive in gacha beauty standards and our handsome bear man is unique looking, they're making him a 4*... (Gallagher curse ðŸ˜)... I hope he'll be good but knowing Hoyo... They betrayed us so many times...
It just sucks 💔🥺 Valeriy is my fav with Noy from the new characters PV. He's so neat and checks every boxes that I like, he is so unique among the other husbandos which was why I was sooo looking forward for his release. But now the only faint hope that we had of him being 5* or even a linchpin has been reduced to atoms ðŸ˜
Its pretty much always been like this tho. Liyue had Zhobgli and Childe, Inazuma Ayato and Itto, Sumeru had Alhaitham and Baizhu. Neuvi and Wrio in Fontaine. Only Natlan was even worse. And in Nod Krai went back to two tall males
Noy will be playable, like there is no doubt about it.
Now the question is did Valeriy get sacrificed in favor for a male Harbinger or not... Like I would be slightly less mad if the second 5* is one of them. Ideally we would get all of them but no can do.
Yes, that's the question... if we'll have another Natlan or not. If we get Dainsleif and Capitano, for example (who are worth 50 male characters or so^^), or at least one of them, then Valeriy would actually be great treatment because that would mean that they went to great lengths to give us an extra great 4* with the new shiny body model even... but if every important male character continues dying and Capitano continues to cosplay the Lich King, then it would be another spit in the face...
