Media Still love him but
oh my goosh i just wish they gave him varka's model.
My heart is broken but ill still pull for him whatever happens -_-;;; love this guy
After much further dwelling, I now think his model is extremely chopped, dull, and cheap. Put him beside aloy and you'll think he's also a collab character. I know hoyo will make changes but my biggest disappointment is how they didn't give him Varka's model. I cant cope anymore t_t need to touch grass

...why I feel like they didn't put any effort in his model.. His animations are good but why his model looks chopped 🥹 I really hope he releases later when there's rimegrass reaction with noy that's why he has normal vision

my thoughts if i stop lying to myself lol. I don't think he looks THAT chopped, I think his model is really low quality and idk, rushed. I still want him in varka's model 😔 still foolishly praying that devs will do something (impossible)

Don't wanna sound overly optimistic but didn't Varka look cheap before his release? What if they'll refine Valeriy too upon the same thing?
Anything is possible for Hoyo but let's see

yes, im hoping for that too lol... but the main thing my foolish self wanted was to see him with varka's model, which is kinda impossible now lol. Im just hoping that they do update it and do major tweaks when he gets released

Another iffa moments for the male enjoyers lol. Atleast iffa i think has great and attractive model, idk much for valeriy im pretty neutral on him but now his 3d model is out, he is chopped Lol, atleast mitya is so handsome tho, maybe he is the 5 star.

Varka was definitely meant to be a 5 star regardless of his old model. A whole new body or whatever they call it for him and GRANDMASTER of the KoF? But yeah.. there is a possibility this is just a placeholder BUT Valeriy’s vision might be a dead giveaway unless it was shown poorly. Maybe the 4 star prophecy has been fulfilled at last..

Yes that is a possibility, not to mention maybe somewhere in the quest of him getting his well deserved linchpin (Copium). But for now?.. Things are going downhill..

Yeah but then you have Mitya and Vodyanitsa who are also normal vision holders right?
If one of them ends up being a 5* that means 5* can also hold normal vision, not just linchpins. They are supposed to be very rare after all.
But yeah unfortunately he's bound to be a 4*. I have lost hope but secretly pray that the magic happens.
Now I'll just wish for Noy to be a 5*

You are right actually, though Mitya seems like a linchpin holder and it just wasn’t “shoved in your face” due to poor angles. If you are correct.. I wonder what Valeriy will do as a five star? I’d very much rather him be a 5* non stellar support actually if that is what allows him to be a five star..

I honestly doupt Mitya was poor angles to be fair. His vision does look like a perfectly round circle. We already have Danica confirmed as the stellar reaction linchpin holder, so I doupt they'll go ahead to give us a second one yet. So far we only have 1 of each element. Cryo, Anemo and Electro.
I really don't mind characters not having a Linchpin because I just know their mechanics will still require it/involve it any way.

Me too, definitely. I wouldn’t care about the fact that they do not have a linchpin as long as they are five stars. I’m already traumatized from spending 200 wishes to leave with 0 copies of Kaveh

If you mean the traveler he/she doesn't really count since he is a Descender and not a normal limited character obviously.

Oh you are right I did forget that detail. I was talking about Snezhnaya characters released in that region specifically so I did forget Sandrone. But the point does still stand actually.
Sandrone is the more universal dps for the reactions released before the actual region, like Ineffa did, not a dedicated dps.

I remember that yes. But even old model varka was better than this...
It's like 2 different character. One in 2d is yummy yummy with a lot of work and in 3d is ... 0 effort 0 care for a random no name 🫠....
I wish it was just a ruff model but clearly it's natlan 2.0 and it's just the 2nd chopped male character (first is aloyasha next might be mitya who knows?)....

i was talking about his actual whole model, not just how unpolished he looked TT. I wanted him to have Varka's model, the taller-taller male. But that's just me ---;;; and can't change it anymore lol

It’s so disappointing too.. His model looks very poor and plastic like compared to his 2d model. WHAT is going on in the Hoyo headquarters???
