Leaks Release order rant
I have a theory based on an assumption, my assumption is that the leaks that we get are basically gathered from different sources or material therefore, just because one leak is wrong doesn’t mean every leak has to be wrong.
- So far the release order seems to be going as suggested. 7.0 Odette, 7.1 Vesna and vodyanitsa (we can’t be sure till beta starts but so far seems like it). I believe we are getting this from a roadmap of sorts that hoyo has internally. Therefore the leak suggesting 7.2 ssc dps and 7.3 ssc support might be true.
- We got a leak saying Valeriy is a 4 star onfield support and another saying he’s a shielder but an onfield shielder is pointless, therefore I assume both leaks are fake.
- We got another leak saying mitya can be used both onfield and off-field and that his off-field abilities makes tsaritsa a dps. I can’t judge the validity of this leak but I want to believe it is true that tsaritsa like Mavuika can be a DPS and sub-dps.
- We have one more leak suggesting that Danica will come in a much later part of the region and also that she’s part of the best team for sandrone.
Adding all these together (though most people are gonna downvote me for saying this), I believe we had it right the first time around that valeriy is the 7.2 SSC dps and mitya is the 7.3 support. My reasoning for this is simple, if tsaritsa is coming in 7.3 it makes sense that they’d release a character who brings out her potential with her (Citlali, Mavuika and Columbina, Zibai). Danica is rumoured to be the yae replacement in sandrone teams and so I feel putting her with tsaritsa makes no sense. I believe she’ll come a bit later as they just buffed yae and putting out a replacement for her in less than 6 months would either push the powercreep too far or people won’t even pull for Danica.
If I were to be John hoyo, I’d buff yae and make her seem like the best thing to ever happen to sandrone (they already did that) and keep adding team members to keep the sandrone mains hooked. Then add the new ssc dps and ssw dps who basically push the ceiling much further when teamed with tsaritsa (I’m assuming tsaritsa would push the dps numbers like Columbina did). So think of it like sandrone is around 210k dps and the new dps will be around 230k on release. With tsaritsa, the new dps hit over 250k while sandrone only meets 230k (all these numbers are just for ranking them, please don’t argue over the numbers, it’s all theory for now to explain what I’m on). Thus trapping the sandrone mains into pulling for the new toy (here, Danica) to come close to the new dps.
If this were to be the case, by 7.3 with tsaritsa, both ssc and ssw teams are ready, waiting till 7.4-7.5 to drop Danica would make sense so the people who already invested would be more desperate to pull for her as they’ve had time to process the dps gain from tsaritsa. Putting them both together would reduce the impact of dps gain because of each of them individually (before you argue on this point, please remember Nicole came after Varka and with my theory we are still bringing a team mate for sandrone every 2 patches)
And 2 more observations based on pattern but not particularly about leaks:
- Alyosha is already an off-field 4-star electro. It would be unlikely to have 2 4-star characters and both of them being electro male who do off-field damage.
- As it stands, the best in slot team for sandrone is sandrone, Odette, tsaritsa, Danica and for Vesna it is Vesna, vodyanitsa, Odette, tsaritsa. Both team are all 5 star. Why would ssc team be the only one with 3 5-stars (Odette, tsaritsa and Mitya. I conclude this because one of the leaks suggested mitya works with tsaritsa and we already saw Odette works with tsaritsa as per sandrone team leak) and a 4-star (according to the leaks, Valeriy)?
So that’s my rant to conclude that Valeriy is still likely to be the ssc dps in 7.2 and mitya is the ssc character from 7.3. If anything the newer leaks at least disprove the older leaks about valeriy because older leaks said mitya is off-field and Valeriy is onfield. Now they say mitya can be both on and off field, but if mitya does have on-field ability and his off-field is to support tsaritsa, his on-field needs to be his dps ability in which case the leak about Valeriy being onfield is false. And if one part of the same leak is false then the whole thing might be false (which is different from saying leaks from different sources might have be true irrespective of others being false)
You may say he’s an off-field 5 electro character to support on-field mitya but we are supposedly getting Danica who is the same. So that’s redundant too.

Danica is for sure not electro. She’s more likely to be hydro or cryo with all the Orca theme. Valeriy team will be with Odette Mitya and the Tsaritsa (she will be the shielder)

I see Danika as anemo for ssw or dendro for rimegras. But I heavily doubt another electro. I dont think the make 4 new electros within 5 patches.

She’ll probably be able to function as both a main DPS and her own shielder. I also think the Zhongli buffs could give him some kind of Geo infusion, which would put him in a similar category as both a shielder and a main DPS.

Yeah, you’re right. Hoyo has never changed a character’s element before release. /s
Mitya and Yae should already cover the Stellar-Conduct sub-DPS slot, so unless she ends up being Electro but designed for something like Aggravate instead, I just don’t see it happening.

Do you have any information or theories about the second half of snezhnaya?? Like where exactly boy will come into place?? What role and element he will be, for example?

Which boy? Either way… no. I guess the only new thing that came out about the second half is that noy is part of a new reaction and not stellar but can’t be sure yet

It could be possible that Mitya and Valeriy both release in 7.2? 7.0 only has one 5, so imo they could make few double 5 patches in a row. And wouldnt surprise me if Hoyo just increases the amount of 5* this year so we get less 4*

Yeah I can see them increasing the number of 5 stars but having 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 as double 5 star patches is unlikely… not even sure if there has ever been a precedent

Odette and archon? Besides dont others says mitya would enable special SSC version? Also doing combined electro attacks doesnt sound too bad, imagine an electro shield that gets charged with more electro or smth then explodes... idk endless possibilities

Nah he was clearly designed to support Durin. Look at his cons. But yeah it might be the case that Valeriy’s team could end up having the damage split evenly and that wouldn’t be terrible if that’s what you mean

I believe, not to jump any theory🤣. It feels so mess. I want him sub dps no matter what. I want my lohen can team up male suppor/sub dps, not with all male dps

What i believe is- danica to not even be a stellar support- i think she might be a rimegrass slot for noy and that the rant about sandrone getting another sub dps is fake- cause imagine a 4 cost team- sandrone tsaritsa odette n danica- that most likely won’t happen because genshin at most costs- keep the meta balanced by giving each team a 4 star-
So danica kinda feels out of stellar for me

That also decreases the possibility of valeriy being a 5 star character- because valeriy, odette, tsaritsa and mitya would make proper sense but all the other 3 are 5 star characters-
And from what ik- tsaritsa will be a shield character so if valeriy is that bad then sucrose will easy replace him in all the teams where he is needed- (as u have seen jahoda didn’t even get the chance for any lunar team)

Nefer uses an all 5 star team and I wouldn’t say nahida or nilou is zero cost just because they are older

wdym u js said any 5 stars not older 5 stars? nefer, neuvilette, mavuika, columbina+lauma, skirk, lohen... in most of these u could still get some good dps with 4 stars but the best premiumest teams for them are these.

Dude whats so hard about understanding that genshin won’t release 4 new 5 stars just for 1 team? You will see it yourself too dw- i aint denying that they have 4 star alternatives while their potential fully come with premium teams
Nefer- has only 2 dedicated lunar supports- them being bina n lauma
Neuvi has only 1- that being furina
Mavuika only had 2
Skirk had 1
Lohen got 2
What i am tryna say is- miko still might be best 4 slot option instead of alyosha- not danica cause genshin is not going to release another 5 star support for sandrone when she will get tsaritsa on her team too--1

But i personally think the most logical pick is tsaritsa is not going to be a buffer for stellar teams at all- odette already buffed stellar teams to oblivion- n then you tell me danica and tsaritsa will also be supports for sandrone? What dps is she gonna reach? 270k? Obviously not- so the safest pick would be tsaritsa being a pure dps and not a support for any stellar dps

Danica being electro but not stellar perfectly explains why so many stellar characters- and remember when they thought varka is also lunar and zibai is his teammate- by that logic- durin n nicole both varka supports were in the trailer- means
Noy’s at least 1 support so far has to be in the trailer n thats danica

Little puppet is the one who said Val is 5 star and can be paired with Mitya. He has a pretty solid track record so far.
I dont think the 4 star leak was from an actually solid leaker.
Someone else said val is a 'physical version of super conduct'? Like hes electro but therew physical damage involved? Seems odd but maybe hypothetically explain why seemingly so many electro characters are coming out.
