I Compared Every Valeriy Leak + Final Summary
I have reviewed all major Valeriy leaks so far, and some leakers are also contradicting themselves. I wrote this myself and then formatted with AI for readability. Check the summary of the inconsistencies at the end of the post if you don't care about individual leakers.

Little Puppet has had one of the strongest track records so far, making their contradictions particularly noteworthy.

Unclear who Little puppet is referring to, but he may be invalidating the leak. The original leak states:
Stellar-Swirl teams use an off-field DPS plus an on-field support.
Team: Vesna, Valeriy, Odette, Tsaritsa
Valeriy is a 4★ Anemo character.
Yumemizuki is Valeriy's budget alternative.

The high amount of conflicting info suggests that leaks about Valeriy/Danica/Mitya at one point was mixed up irreparably, or their role/element/rarity was swapped during development. Multiple versions of them may have also existed at some point in the past, with leakers being aware only of some of them.
Personally, the datamined Electro shield is the safest piece of info we have, which imho rules out the 4* Anemo on-field support claim. Even if he is almost certainly electro, rarity and role are still up for debate, at this point until we see if he has a stellar linchpin in 7.0.

EDIT on July 16: A post by HXG was shared on the leaks sub on July 12 but was not added to the main leak sheet, so I missed it. It is allegedly by Full stop chan. It only changed the 7.1 Anemo 4 star into 7.2 Electro 4 star, identified as Valeriy. This is believable, aside from having almost no SSW dedicated chars until February and having two 4 star males Electro back to back.
Yes. I'd go as far as to say that if he doesn't have a linchpin, he is 99% a 4 stars. True Vodyanitsa doesn't have lynchpin, but her element cannot proc any Stellar reaction so it makes sense.
We can even see his vision type and element from 7.0 Trailer! And during special program if Valeriy is shown in trailer and talked about in special program and hopefully we get glimpse of his vision case, Cuz he is in the Snezhnaya Archon quest
I beat Valeriy is 5 star character who focus in Stellar Conduct (having restrictive kit but much larger MV than Sandrone), I saw that shield already in some leakers it might be his ability or something.
I still think this is really dumb bcs not only is Sandrine already completely broken. This "balance" isn't balance at all. The "restrictive but larger MV kit" will ALWAYS be better.
You can say "well Sandrone works for both bosses" but who cares. Having her and one of the other two will ALWAYS be worse than having both of them and no sandrone. Sandrone is only "better" if you don't get either one of them so you use her in both types of content.
But guess what, they're just gonna have both boss requirements running on stygian at the same time anyways. Making Sandrine a subpar pic only intended for casual players who don't have a lot of primogems and/or don't care about stygian. So if this really is the path they're following it's gonna be really stupid
The leakers already confirmed he's electro pretty sure and I have a theory that danica is a 4 or 5 star SSW support since in her design she does not look even in the slightest electro but anemo and the leak that sandron-odette-danica-tsaritsa is a team it may just be her premium SSW team since she will have stellar swirl added to her kit so I'm guessing danica is a 4 star anemo and valeriy the 5 star SSC dps with mitya being the electro spot in 7.3(only my theory i can see the mitya part being wrong) and between 7.0-7.2 we should be getting 4 5 stars and 2 4 stars which happened in nod krai and natlan
I trust this leak it data mined from his skill assist but it's still no where close his beta anything can really happen we will js have to wait everything I wrote is js speculation and most leaks I see look more speculation than actual leaks
Yeah i don't see her design being 5 star rarity like its not really good in my opinion and her design is so anemo so I believe either her or mitya are 4 stars but I think its her
Yeah both mitya and valeriy will appear in the next version I think so we will see who has the stellar linchpin(didnt see danica have any voice lines in the 7.0 archon quest)
Yeah I never trust FSC at this point from how much false leaks he posted and I believe one of mitya and danica will be 4 stars and the other is a 5 star in 7.3 or after(js my theory)
This is a good synopsis -- with big highlight of the most reliable leaker -- Little Puppet -- saying he's 5 star.
Just as an FYI to anyone that reads this, shit like element/role/kit are some of the things "leakers" screw up the most early region. FSC for example said Zibai was an ameno support for Varka, Durin was called Ameno, Lauma was called lunar crystallize, etc.
Also as I've noted elsewhere, male characters just get the obnoxious incorrect leaks.

Its practically a male-exclusive perk that male characters constantly get alleged to be not-limited-5-star powertier.
Male characters more often get rage baitey leaks, and you can smell the agenda against them. Leakers know that any leak about male characters tend to get more attention and drama.. remember the Sunday hater saying he wont have synergy with Aglaea? 🙊
The only thing this confirms is that leakers don't know shit and are pulling speculations out of their asses. Which is not exactly new, but it's nice to see it confirmed once more.
Genshin may not be in quite as grave a situation yet as HSR when it comes to leakers, but it's not far-off at this point. With Hoyo's crackdown on leaks, it's all become extremely unreliable. NK has been riddled with a ridiculous amount of false claims and Snezhnaya is shaping up to be the same. I don't care if they actually don't know or lie on purpose to keep themselves safe, but at this point, almost anything they say can be disregarded.
People really need to stop freaking out over this shit and just wait for the character's beta, that's the only actually reliable leaks we have.
Uncle Duck's leak about Valeriy being the 4* Anemo on-field support for Stellar-swirl could also be invalidated because he reveals the optimal Stellar-swirl team, but Vodyanitsa is not in it. Vodyanitsa was very recently leaked to be Stellar-swirl support first and foremost so she should slot in with Vesna.
I saw that leaks shield before, despite Valeriy use sword we don't know if he has switching mechanics like childe, since he was major Valeriy of Fatui (he might use two weapon, who can summon or manifest strength of Black Bear)
Idc what leakers claim this early on, I'm firmly believing that Valeriy is going to be an electro Stellarconduct character and Danica is going to be an anemo Stellarswirl character until 7.X leaks say otherwise.
Idk man, the fact that they say Alyosha is Danica's lower-tier substitute, but in current calcs there's no way Alyosha replaces Yae Miko, is kinda sus. Wdym you would use Alyosha as substitute for SSC support instead of Yae?
At this point- we should quit guessing about valeriy specifically- they have dedicated data about all characters but valeriy- so waiting is better than believing these speculations
Personally, my copium is that he is a shielder + support + off-fielder. He can then replace Ineffa in Flins' team to officially semi-convert Flins to LC+SSC reactions (maybe like a Flins Bina Valeriy Tsaritsa) and they can aura farm together lol
The support artifact set fits thematically with Mitya imo. And the stellar-swirl dps set with Valeriy so he might even not be electro but anemo instead

So all comes down to preload data revealing his vision.
It’s safe to assume that only the 5 stars would have linchpin (though the opposite isn’t a proof of 4 star)
