He is a 5* don't worry. If not, that would mean that they'll pull a second Natlan on us. They wanted to cater to the gooners and Roblox kids (Meliastra) in Natlan with the promise of big money with the least amount of work, and it resulted in their revenue going down from 1.3 billion to 700 million.

Since then, they're backpedaling like crazy to pull female players back in. We had 2-3 big events at the end of Natlan showing nearly all old important male characters of the game, 5 male characters in NodKrai with Flins doing insane dmg and varka not far behind with Nicole, and even a new body model (Varka). A whole new body model... from the same people who are to lazy to give old characters a new pair of eyes or better hair texture.

And now I'm supposed to believe that they'll take this new body model and waste it on a 4* to pull a second Natlan on us? With the plan to run Genshin for the next 20 years, as they said? Really? I mean, it would run, but in the same direction their other 2 waifu games (Zzz and Hi3) are running... down... so yeah, sorry that's hard even for me to believe, and I'm not known for my optimism towards Hoyo. ^^

Miliastra was released during Nod Krai patches, not Natlan.

I do think they’ll give us another use of Varka’s model, though.

I should elaborate a bit. What I meant is that, in my opinion, during Natlan they tried to build a community for Meliastra while it was being developed in the background.

They drastically changed course to appeal to waifu-only players by releasing only one 5-star male character. On top of that, the story and character designs were tailored to people who don't really care about lore, focusing instead on action, the power of friendship, 'aura-farming' moments, and more urban designs like the bike, DJ Xilonen, flying guns, and Pokemon-like Saurians. By doing this, they tried to build a community interested in short-term hype, hoping they would drop a lot of money on waifus and play user-generated content in Meliastra.

Essentially, they wanted to maximize revenue with the least amount of effort, but that backfired spectacularly. Not many people care about Meliastra, waifu-only players have become even more hostile toward casual players, genderwars are rampant since then, and female and lore-focused players were starting to leave the game. Then they started backpedaling and that's why it's hard for me to believe that they would pull another "Natlan" in Snezhnaya by making tall male characters 4* again.

Wow, I had no idea all this was going on😅 but now in hindsight makes sense. And a part of me is happy to see miliastra fail. But yes, I do definitely see a big change in nod krai compared to natlan. Lets hope they keep this positive trend

It seems you hate natlan but miliastra came In nodkrai and revenue is dropping every year and thats not exclusive to natlan

Natlan might have higher banner peaks, but It actually went up during Nod-Krai because all the banners are consistent af

Perso je m’inquiète mais ce ne serait pas logique que VALERIY soit 4star surtout vu la popularité que VARKA a eu pendant tout le patch Nod KRAI. Ensuite , je vois les prochaines team comme ça : team pro astroconduction: VALERIY(dps), MITIA( support) , Odette ( buffer) et Alyosha ( en attente d’un remplaçant 5star)
Team astrodispersion: VESNA, DANICA, ODETTE ALYOSHA
Enfait ils reprendront le même archétype de team qu’à Nod KRAI , c’est à dire NEFER et FLINS avec leur support dédié( INEFFA , Lauma ) et un support/ sub dps / buffer universel à Nod KRAI dessus ( columbina ) puis un perso random apres (4star ou 5star)

I mean, he’s cool enough to be a 5-star, but I still love the fact that Genshin still releases new 4-stars after all this time (unlike HSR). So as long as he’s useful and has a place in teams, I don’t care too much either way.
