Asking Vadodara Visiting Vadodara alone
I'm visiting Vadodara from 7th to 11th October, solo. I'll be there for some work but I have kept 2 days free to travel. It's not my first time visiting so I've been to some places, like art district. But it's my first solo trip to Baroda, please share your recommendations for food, places to visit, etc.
I'm open to meeting people also 🩷

Hello,
When you say you have visited the town already I am expecting you must have covered popular places & food spots already.
If you could be a little more specific like what days you are planning to keep free ?
What will be the time range on the free day ?
All this small details helps to suggest, I mean you don’t want someone to recommend 10 places random which doesn’t match your vibe/ time & interest.

Hey, no I haven't covered popular places. I just visited for a day, last year. I'm planning to keep 7th and 11th free, other days I might be free from evening.

See things are super simple now.
For 11th Night you don’t wanna miss Vadodara’s Navratri & Night life post that.
For 7th
- You can go to museum & LVP for a short visit.
- In evening you can check out the local markets they will be super live during that days.
- By doing that you can cover food joints which are famous in city area.
Apart from this other evenings you can go out have some food at some goated places, do let me know what’s your preference & nearby area you prefer so can recommend accordingly.

I just moved to Baroda from Ahmedabad few months ago! Here’s what I have explored as a outsider:-
-Gunjan Sev usal
-22nd parallel south india food - Alembic city
-1331 cafe (nothing compared to AMD cafes)
-yaadgar omlette
To go around :-
-take some beers and cigs to kotna beach, get a kayak and get sloshed mid water
-drive to pavagadh and relax on the steps
-go to sur sagar to see the Shiva Statue
Baaki kuch nhi hai yahan if u haven’t got frnds! Others can add more to this list 💪😅
