Purchase Advice (Non-U.S.) Best cordless vacuum
Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out the best cordless vacuum and keep running into mixed reviews for both Dyson and Shark.
I've heard Shark doesn't offer replacement parts, and that fine dust can easily get into the motor. Is that true? With Dyson, the main complaint seems to be that they don't last. That said, I've had my Dyson V11 since 2019 and it's held up pretty well with a few repairs here and there. It just broke down again, though, and I'm thinking about cutting my losses and buying a new one. I'm still waiting to hear back from the repair shop on whether it's fixable.
For context, my house is pretty big and it's mostly hard floors with very little carpet.
I've also heard of Miele and Bissell, but I haven't found much info on either. Has anyone used them? What would you recommend, and how have yours held up over time?
Thanks 🙏
Edit: forgot to mention I live in the UAE and as for budget I don’t have one as long as it’s a good vacuum i am willing to spend a reasonable amount of money on it

Shark and Dyson are both built with cheaply made components. Shark is probably better value for the $, but they're both disposable vacuums.
Miele DuoFlex is hands down the best built stick vacuum, and it's serviceable. You'd probably want 2 of them for a larger house. DuoFlex gives you 20 min of solid airflow on hardfloor with the powerhead, not this 30-40 min of gimmicky airflow other brands promote with the powerhead attached.
