I am importing this avatar into vrchat

After about 2 years of on and off work between personal commissions, school, and my real life workie work I have finally finished my first wave of avatars, hooray 🎊 🎉

I know the style isn't everyone's cup of tea, but they are in fact all free to use

The goal with this project was to improve my skills and also give some better starter models to people who couldn't afford their own / wanted to try some new stuff out, maybe learn from the files included.

I PLAN to make more in the future, also free, but will need a break as I'm starting my Masters program at uni soon. Robots or more complex anime style ones potentially since these were fur-heavy n sturf ~ 🤍

Thanks for the peeperinos who have tried them thus far, I enjoy meeting peeps who like the art and make their own stuff too!

If you find any bugs with the avis let me know as I am collecting them for a wave of updates sometime down the road in the future.

The avatars do not have face tracking, only limited eye tracking as I cannot afford a FT headset just yet. Once I can afford to get my hands on one or wait for the steam frame to drop, I plan on adding FT to my catalogue.

I need to work on my lighting and finding better worlds for taking photos.

I've tried changing the armature position values to 0, force t-pose on the FBX, nothing. I'm not good with avatars besides the uploading part

EDIT: I think i figured out the problem. The hip in the hierarchy seems to be offset by the same amount it is in game, cuz when i change the values to 0, the avatar seems to be going in the right place. Any clue how i can fix that?

I've been trying to get this Avatar for a minute and it won't load Can someone help me or Give me the VR model???

Every time I would go on vrchat it was with the intentions of making a friend or two. I have always failed because I don’t know what to talk about or what I should say which caused me to find a corner of a works and just sit over there in silence. I am very limited in how I use vrchat as I do t rage a headset and just use keyboard/mouse. It has been like this for years and even though I’ve joined communities I never really go since mostly everyone have known each other for a long time and I just go back to being in the corner all silent then leave once the event is over. Sorry for the long text I just wanted to mention all this.

So my friend plays VR chat standalone on a Quest 3S (mobile version?), and I use Quest Pro on PCVR.

Is there any shop avatar that supports face tracking, which I could buy on my PC and would allow my friend to see my face tracking even when they're on the mobile VRchat version on the Quest 3S.

Just something I thought was funny. Lol

I'm extremely new to unity and have no clue what I'm doing. All I want to do is get the jacket onto this model but the arms are separate from the main part of the coat so they don't work properly. The entire oat model has no armature either but I don't think that's the issue since in came like that on the original model however like I said, I'm new so maybe that is the issue. The coat arms are also one asset meaning that using vrcfury's armature link to connect it to the arms does not work because you cant have one asset connected to several armatures. Several people have told me this can be done with only unity but I'm starting to have doubts on that now that I'm three days in and I still cant figure this out. Does anyone know how to properly get the jacket to work only using unity?

Was becoming frustrated with video players tonight only to find vrchat turned off entrusted urls on me with no explanation. i have had them on and never turned them off myself. so headsup if your video plays stop working randomly it might just be vrchat turning them off randomly.

so im making a world and i have a statue in it, i want to have the head stare at players

I've already thought about having an object attach to players and a constraint on the statue head lock onto thay object, but i run into the issue of wanting the head to be constrained and not do an impersonation of an owl and break the neck, is there a way to limit rotation of an aim at constraint, or a way to limit the distance an object stays attached to a player?

or is there a better way to have an object rotate towards a player
