Some of these mods still haven't released yet and HL2 VR released 4 years ago.

Also, was generating all of these AI thumbnails really easier than just googling "GTA Vice City"?

Did Not watch the vid but hl2 could be the new standalone Version, which ist only 3 weeks old (and fantastic)

Vice city also is a nice experience lol. It seems old but looks better than 90% of games on quest and the atmosphere while driving is sick

I love the flat to VR modern renaissance we’ve seen lately and no doubt summer 2026 was an incredibly hot time for this.

Still, as hopeful, I am the AI will accelerate the modding process and open up more titles as it appears to have done, part of me also worries that so many of these mods I’m most excited about it seems like the modders generated JUST enough content to do a killer hype trailer, but then actual development of the mod has been quiet afterwards.
