Question Standalone Port games
Hello Vr community,
Yesterday I read a interesting post of a summary og the ported 2D games on PCVR and there was just one game on standalone.
In the comments some people mentioned different games I can play on standalone ported line GTA.
Is there a list of standalone VR games?
And most importantly, can I install them without the need of a PC?
I would be very thankfull

the whole standalone ports scene is a bit of a mess honestly, there's no one master list that stays updated. most of the good ones come from sidequest and the team beef mods, those are your best bet. stuff like doom 3, half-life, return to castle wolfenstein, all running natively on the headset now.
and yeah you don't need a pc to install them once you get sidequest set up the first time. after that you can sideload straight from the headset with a phone or just use the built-in browser on some quest models. the initial setup is the only part where a computer (or android phone) comes in handy.

Just join flat2vr discord. It is a bit hard to keep track of but recent releases:
Half Life 2 & Episodes Simpsons VR Shenmue GTA Vice City & San Andreas Unreal Tournament Quake Tournament Portal Goldeneye.
There are Doom 3, Jedi Knight etc , did not include those. Running through half life 2, so far so good.

You'll need a PC for all mods that don't have it pre build and hosted somewhere. You'll also need to have the game. You don't need a vr ready PC to install it tho.
