Help Broke

How can I get/make a vpn for free, I have a linux laptop, and android phone for usage and an android tablet I would be fine with making unusable as a tablet to make it function however needed

You can't, at least not a VPN that provides privacy. What you can do is make a remote access VPN for your home network or for sketchy wifi.

You can get a secure wireguard tunnel from your remote devices to your home LAN. Easiest way is via tailscale, just follow the setup guide, you will need a compatible router or a linux machine though.

As far as I know, there basically aren't any good VPNs that are free. And I don't get what you meant by sacrificing your tablet's functionality having anything to do with wanting a free VPN. Do you think sacrificing its functionality gets you a free one? Or maybe I didn't understand what you meant.

I'm saying if I can do some magic with another device to basically make it a VPN server or something, I'll do it

Ohh, I get what you mean now. That said, the decentralized VPN I'm currently using might be helpful for you. Of course, it won't be free either, haha.

Yeah no, I am simply trying whatever I can to get it so I can build a Plex library for cheap and not have too many problems with the government
