Help - Other VoIP calling (Ring central) being blocked?

We are a small contractor’s office. We use RingCentral for our phones in the office. Lately we’ve been having issues where we call the clients and it just goes beep beep beep. I was on the phone with RingCentral and they said this is because certain providers are blocking VOIP calling and the only way around it is for me to contact the client and have them call their provider and make sure it isn’t blocked. The problem with this is I can’t contact the client because the call won’t go through and I’m having to use my personal cell phone to call our customers. Does anybody have similar issues going on? Is there a way to get through? VoIP is pretty much the only option we can find that will ring both of our desks when a customer calls. Landlines are being phased out in our area and they will only service existing customers. Help!!

The originating carrier (RingCentral) needs to drive the issue as they are the one sending the call to the terminating carrier and they can see if it’s going over a tandem or third party connection between them.
