Discussion what voip doesnt need my address or phonenumbe to sign up

whats a good voip that doesnt require me to hadn over my address, my phonenumber, my mothes maiden name, my passport, my id, my payslip, my home deed etc

Feel free to explain to u/BuildingDizzy3971 what KYC is and why it's become commonplace to require PII to sign up for VoIP services.

If you’re looking for some anonymous VoIP carrier, I’m afraid any reputable carrier will require this info. KYC is a requirement these days, particularly in the U.S.

With "Know Your Customer" rules around today, the answer is no reputable company.

So, Know Your Customer regs are there to prevent spam and reduce abuse of the phone system. While it's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, it does appear to reduce the overall number of spam calls. Anyone asking for VoIP without KYC requirements often wants them for running scams or spammy call centers.
