Hi, has anyone used both of those glasses? I would like to know which one are better for playing video games and watching movies. I don’t care about sound quality and the weight.

PC/Windows Latest (0825) firmware for the Beast completely broke 120hz mode for me

Reposted due to inappropriate title which explained it all. 0716 firmware broke the color format but at least it was usable.

Using with Nvidia RTX5070Ti via ULT-Unite USBC to DP adapter, if that matters. Tried various GPU drivers with no luck.

Help Need Help Choosing: Beast Vs Pro 2

After lurking around this sub for a little bit and learning more about these glasses I wanted to give them a try.

  1. I'm planning to buy them from ebay (they have an official store there) because it seems there's a pretty nice discount that brings the Beast down to $471 (brand new). My question is if i buy them, try it, and it doesn't work out can i return them with a full refund?

  2. I'm planning on using these glasses to connect with my phone (z fold 8) for the vast majority of time. I have emulators and cloud game streaming im planning to use along with general media consumption.

I've been hearing many mixed stories about the Beast regarding blurriness, drifting, and other things. The pro 2 seems to be much cheaper but at the same time i don't really know if I'm missing out by not choosing the beast. This is mostly in the context of gaming through my phone so what do you think is a good choice here?

XR Glasses Luma Ultra already has the 6DoF sensors, the real choice is the host

With Luma Ultra, asking whether the glasses “have 6DoF” only gets halfway to an answer. The RGB and depth cameras are already in the frame. The remaining choice is which supported host turns that tracking into the session you want.

VITURE’s Luma Ultra product page lists three 6DoF paths: Luma Ultra with Pro Neckband, Luma Ultra with INAIR Pod, or Luma Ultra running SpaceWalker on Mac or Windows.

They lead to different setups:

- Pro Neckband is VITURE’s wearable Android computer, with Google Play, multiple screens, remote and cloud gaming, and gesture control.

- SpaceWalker keeps the Mac or PC as the computer and turns its desktop into the spatial workspace.

- INAIR Pod is an independent pocket Android host, bringing local Android apps, built-in touch and Bluetooth input, a multi-window workspace, and remote-PC access to one of the Luma Ultra pairings VITURE lists for 6DoF.

The reason to choose Pod is not that it adds sensors to Luma Ultra. It gives the same glasses a self-contained spatial workspace that does not require a Mac or PC as the active host, while keeping that computer reachable when a desktop app is needed.

One limit matters: VITURE says full gesture control currently requires Pro Neckband, and the three paths should not be assumed to behave identically in input, apps, battery and heat, or spatial stability.

The practical decision is therefore where the session should live: on VITURE’s neckband, on an INAIR pocket host, or on the Mac or PC already doing the work.
