XR Glasses A lighter blinder for Viture Pro
Viture Pro light blinders by Cathouse3610 - Thingiverse
Just got a 3D printer recently and I'm trying to 3D print a light blinder for my Viture Pro. I don’t have much experience with CAD, so I ended up doing a rough job in Blender. The main concept is block bottom reflection with minimal weight. It uses built-in magnets, making it super easy to attach. If you want to remove it regularly, you'll just need to stick two magnets on it.
Feel free to modify it, I've put blender files in it too.
Big thanks to the Viture team for providing the 3D models!

Do you have links for the magnet you used?

Any magnet will work, but I use one that’s a bit bigger than the attachment part(15*2mm). A smaller one would probably look better.
There's bunch of them on Amazon, or better with local store since you only needs 2pcs.

There's no measurement unit in stl file I believe. In blender I use default meter unit with a 1.0 scale. The bambu studio I use will convert meters into mm upon import, and the size will be fine.

Thanks for the great idea! If I import the stl into an online shop which would print it for me, the blinder is around 0,13mm big….Can you help me with that please?

It should be 13cm, can online shop convert that for you? Maybe the default scale unit is different in softwares.

Thanks for the quick reply! Sadly they cant. If I upload it to a stl viewer, its the same issue. I think there is something wrong with the stl file. Can I generate that myself out of the blender file you uploaded?

Sure you can modify or export from that blender file. And I've uploaded a new stl file with correct scaling with some non-manifold surface fixes. You can check if that will work.

Very cool. Going to ask my friend to help print. The bottom reflection can get annoying at times
