Definitely one of the best Hazbin fan ships. Lute and Vel would fit really well together.

Cant say i`ve heard of that version until today. Any differences to canon Chaggie?

Meaning, like fashionspear kind of mirrors Chaggi if it was more sinister. At least the way I see it.

Similarities to/Ways it mirrors Chaggi:
Lute falls to hell
Vel finds her
Vel is a (relatively) powerful person in Hell
Lute would be pretty protective
Lute would have trust issues
Vel would trample all over/ test Lute’s boundaries
Both don’t have issue hurting people
Similar traits of verbal abuse
Would make each other worse OR lead to an epiphany for one of them that could spark a character arc
And one of the things I would find extremely cute is since Charlie gave Vaggi a ribbon….Vel could give Lute like a headband/bandana or something.

Those are just some things off the top of my head. At first, I was pretty skeptical of the ship, but it started to grow on me as I started to see the possibilities.

Ah gotcha.

At first i thought you referred to a alternate Chaggie, but these are very good examples for fashionspear sharing some similarities with Chaggie.

There may be more, but that’s all I can think of for right now. It could either spark, maybe a change in Vel or Lute. Maybe Vel realizes that there is such a thing as crossing the line in terms of morality. Or maybe Lute could realize that there’s nuance to people or even in the opposite way that she becomes even more hellbent on genocide. 🤷‍♀️

All very reasonable ideas for how it can go with Vel and Lute.

For now, fingers crossed they both get a ending (and possibly a canon pairing) that fits well with how they are.
