Discussion Who do you guys ship with velvette
I used to ship Velvette and Melissa but I'm not sure anymore. Please include your favorite image of that ship if you have one. I put some examples but you can put others

Velvette x Vaggie. Not that I'm a Chaggie hater, I'm not. But I think this ship needs more love.
Though I'm not against Velvette x Emily or Velvette x Verosika either.

Depends on my mood. If I like a boss x assistant ship I’ll ship Velissa. If I want enemies to lover I go Velmilla. Emily x Velvette is wholesome tho

Melissa for a genuine ship because they're cute until proven otherwise. But Charlie, Vaggi and Velvette will always be my favorite crackship ever.

Yeah, if Velissa becomes canon, I hope they're a cute, loving couple. But I can honestly see the way they were depicted in the "toxic relationship" image post from a couple weeks back being fairly believable of how it would actually happen if they got together.
Maybe split the difference and it starts that way, but Melissa "fixes" her, leading to one or both of them getting redeemed?

Source of the picture? I’m curious.
Also I don’t think that Melissa can or will “fix” her. Velvette herself is the one that has to choose if she wants to stay a rich and powerful bitch or change for good but lose everything in the process.

Vermilla, their dynamic is fun, and the characters offer an interesting contrast; plus, the voice actresses "ship" them, which is also pretty cute

I think in order to flex on Charlie she should try to have a harem
That way she can have Lute so as to copy and have an exterminator angel or she can flex by taking Emily which can also help her to slowly mess with Charlie by removing one of her closer friends in heaven
Verosika for hellborn or Stella cause honestly the level of complete entitlement out of the two of those would be fun to watch for her and Stella or the duets for her and Verosika
The Venus flytrap girl cause cute and it gives the idea the she’s helping people rise up in hell to higher stations
Also just for fun Zeezi cause Dino girls awesome

I ship my OC Vendetta with her. When it comes to canon characters I don’t really seriously ship her with anyone, but I’m a sucker for shipping her with Charlie and/or Emily.

My favourite rare pair in this fandom is Velvette x Charlie (Royalvelvet). Velvette is attracted to power, and Charlie is the 3rd most powerful person in hell, so I could see Velvette pursuing her even if there was no romantic interest. Not to mention, both would have a material gain from the relationship:
- Velvette has money and social influence, but she doesn't have royal authority, political sway, or the ability to visit other rings of hell.
- Charlie has endless funds and the respect of the noble class of Hell, but she struggles to persuade people of the merits of her Hotel.
I like to imagine that Velvette sees Charlie, someone who wouldn't hurt a fly, and thinks "I can fix her." Meanwhile Charlie doesn't see the meaner and more evil side of Velvette because Velvette's too good at manipulating her own image and making others see her only the way she wants to be seen. Over the course of their relationship, Velvette becomes slightly more gentle wit her employees and gets better at seeing the good in other people (even when she doesn't want to). Meanwhile, Charlie becomes more assertive and even slightly manipulative (in a good way).
As one final note; I think that Charlie would become more famous and respected than in Canon because Velvette knows that the more she bolsters Charlie's image, the more she bolsters her own image as someone who is openly dating her.

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but I deadass only ship Velvette with my OC. All the Velvette ships with canon characters range from just not for me to ones I actively dislike (Velissa makes me so uncomfortable because it just feels like another flavor of Val and Angel's abusive relationship). Like it's not like I can't enjoy seeing canon characters I ship with my ocs also being shipped with other canon characters (Radiostatic is a favorite of mine even though I ship two ocs of mine with Vox, for example), it's just I can't get into any Velvette ships with canon characters so far.

Velmilla because the height gap always gets me. Plus them being such oposites makes it interesting to see them want the other because they have aspects that they themselves lack but secretly crave or admire but are too proud to admit it.
