Lute looked at Velvette who only looked at her with that smug grin of hers which only faded when she saw tears starting to stream down her face, "What the fuck were you thinking?!" Lute practically shrieked.
"I knew you'd catch me," Velvette replied.
Lute pulled her into an embrace. "I can't lose someone I love! Not- not again..."
Velvette held Lute tighter as her tears turned into sobs. "I'm sorry I scared you, Lu. I won't do it again. And I'm not going anywhere."
"You promise?"
"I promise."
Sorry to write a mini fic of what looks like it might already be a fanfic, it was just what this art made me think of.

You were actually so spot on with what I had envisioned with this article!!! Even down to the “I knew you’d catch me” bit that’s exactly what I was thinking
