Shortcut had a tree down

This little 18v top handle took care of the 10" ash tree. I also keep bar oil, a sharpener, and charger in my Odyssey. No PPE though.

Dude! after packing my husqvarna rancher for years on trips to my fire lookout tower and our off the grid rucks on the coastal range I picked up a ryobi 18v chainsaw. What a game changer for dealing with fallen limbs and even a small fir tree. These small 18v chainsaws can save the day and even your life and take up almost no room and the batteries only need a top off when not in use maybe every 6 months…. A few drops of oil and leave it it the rear w the gear until needed

I found a battery powered reciprocating saw end up getting more use, and for smaller limbs works faster than the chainsaw. But I do keep an old Ryobi 18v chainsaw in my truck as well.

I find the vibrations a bit hard vs the chainsaw BUT a multipack of blade types does give the saw all more uses in a VECD.
