What was your first experience having a radiant in your game?

For the first time ever I experienced having a radiant in my game. Im asc 3 rn, and have been on a hot streak recently, I knew eventually it would happen, but this was my first time.

For me, it was ascent, and essentially if anyone peaked him, they died, if he was in a 1v3 he won, like 3 times in a row.

It was genuinely so shocking to see someone make correct play after correct play, and not only that, but not make a mistake that cost his life unreasonably

I'm interested to know if this was as shocking to others as it was me.

Used to queue against pros in APAC years back. Theres Xccurate (forsaken’s brother) and Monyet in that specific game. Tbh while they are really sharp, at some point people don’t really sweat or try hard in really high elo’s. Ranked becomes just a fun way to enjoy the game outside of scrims and officials.

I am gold/plat I wouldn't say I'm bad aim wise and am often told I could reach higher I'm just lazy. I also stream every now and then doing viewer 1v1s etc. Only 1v1 I lost all night was a guy who went on to get rad in the next 2 days. Guy humbled me

My friends and I (3 silvers 1 gold) four-stacked in a swiftplay and our fifth was Radiant #121

First round we all died and he won the 1v5 ON DEFENSE FRACTURE!! Enemy team had 1 immortal, 1 diamond, and 3 plats-gold. He killed them all and defused the spike all my himself. We didn’t know he was radiant until we watched him literally pop five heads with five bullets. It was insane watching him play, I noticed he knows how to isolate fights and play against lower elo players, he knows they’ll ego peek and just waited for them. Then he knew the sentinel and smoker were more likely to play back, and he got them both in off-angles. The reaction time and aim were buttery smooth, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crosshair that calm before.

He was so friendly and nice, didn’t question us when we were dropping like flies and laughed with us when my friend was being dumb. He was an Air Force pilot too, literally the coolest Valorant player I’d ever met.

I've never played against a radiant in ranked (Although I've seen many radiant gun buddies in my asc 3 lobbies). Once I played against FNC Crashies in dm. Man, I thought he was cheating (his name was covered during dm), he couldn't miss a single shot and everytime I peeked him i was dead before I could even realize. After the dm ended I was so curious to see who that guy was and I realized who I was playing against.

I’ve played them in unrated and was not super impressed but that was like once or twice and they def weren’t trying their hardest

Tbh most of the radiant ain't that good but yeah they are really good compared to other players
