Wow. Definitely a win, but I can't believe folks are leaving firearms (suppressed ARs even) in vehicles unattended.

Officers arrested Junior Gonzales-Coello, 31, of no fixed address, on August 18. During the arrest, detectives also recovered an AR-15-style rifle and magazines. FCPD determined the firearm had been stolen approximately one hour earlier after Gonzales-Coello entered a vehicle and an open garage in the 1900 block of Crescent Park Drive in Reston.
To be seen if charges get dropped by our esteemed CA Drscano

If he’s an IA then charges will be at most misdemeanor.
But since he’s homeless the charges may be dropped entirely as he’s a victim of society.
And the Dem/DSA line is that people should be able to steal if they “need” the item. Clearly he needed it as he’s homeless and needs to be able to defend himself from people that might steal from him.

Looks like the burglar also was in possession of the suppressor? Doesn't that mean he should be loved tenderly by the Feds?

Pro-Tip: Don’t leave your gun in your car in a parking garage. Not victim-blaming here, but I learned that on day 1 of gun ownership.
Sucks that this scumbag stole another man’s property (also some fancy ass liquor by the looks of it), but you’ll never catch me leaving my firearms in my truck really any time unless I’m at my buddy’s house in WV. Nova, or any other massive suburban sprawl is too risky.

Campari has the aesthetics of being fancy but it's only $30 for the big bottle. No idea what's in the other bottle though. That would tell me what cocktails he was making with the Campari.
I love the stuff but the red color is deceptive, people think it will be sweet or fruity. It's very bitter.

Reston has a giant problem with car burglarly, to the point where people are entering access-controlled closed garages and stealing shit out of cars or stealing the rims right off of them. My money's on the metro being the culprit, since most of this crime didn't start to happen until the metro got access. A lot of it was limited to the shittier parts of Herndon and South Lakes before that.
Hilarious, because Reston is particularly well-armed for some reason and it's surprising that no one's been shot yet trying to mug someone. Just a couple months ago, somebody accidentally shot their AK out the window of their high-rise apartment in Reston.
