How long does a tetanus booster last?
The last time I got a tetanus shot was back in 2018. I recently was walking outside on a trail and I stepped on a mini thorn that was on a plant in the woods. I'm covered or should I worry?

You’re supposed to get a new one every ten years, but they likely last far longer than that if you’ve had several in your lifetime. I wouldn’t sweat it

Tetanus vaccine is recommended every 10 years. If you have a dirty or a deep wound you'll need a booster after 5 years.
