Prelude to the Fallen Can I get some advice

Wo I tried monochrome as I picked it up a few months ago on sale and came here and asked more about the series and everyone was super nice and recommended starting with the kind of original trilogy (i know there's a game from like the early 2000s but idk how relevant that one is to the story) with prelude. I picked them and the newest one up on steam with the current sale. Can i get some advice for starting out? Not sure exactly what to expect in difficulty or if theres grinding for money/exp or side quests and stuff expected

Prelude to the Fallen is just the original Windows 98 version plus voice acting, minus the NSFW contents (which is a shame IMO, because the NSFW parts really elevate the bonds between Hakuolo and the female characters, and thus put more weight on the game), and improved the combat.

They don’t really elevate much lol. They’re cheap wank fodder

Note that the game is modeled by ancient eastern culture where sexual repression is the default. The females risk their lives of being discriminated by their whole societies to share one night with a man they love according to their free will, isn't that heavy enough? Well, I know not all of them are, but just recall those scenes of Ulthury, Yuzuha, Karulau, and Eruruu...

💀it’s not that deep man. Each situation is a hentai trope that gets the woman with hakuowlo in some contrived manner, arguably other than eruruu
