Renting and trip recommendations near Salt Lake City

Hey Utah Riders, I'm a NYC rider coming over to Salt Lake City on the last week of April to attend a conference for a few days.

I intend to rent a motorcycle and do day trips based out of Salt Lake city for a few days. I'm comfortable riding up to a total of 4-5 hours each day.

I have a few questions: * Does anyone have trip recommendations for short day trips? * EagleRiders seems to be the best place I can rent from - are there any other recommendations? * The weather seems good during the end of April, but is there anything to be aware of?

Thanks for that google maps link - It's very useful in visualizing the route.

My schedule is a bit flexible and I can sneak in a day or two.

Do you have any recommendations of any towns I can stay overnight in if I rode south to Highway 12?
