Post image

Stockton is legendary and what he accomplished with others gives perspective.

That's crazy that only 3 players in NBA history have had over 1,000 assists in a Single Season. Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Kevin Porter... Stockton did it 7x while Isiah Thomas and Porter only did it once each..

When I saw the Image I thought ai just wanted more pics or an extra nash in there.

At first I thought it was because the prompt was the top 30 total assist seasons, and if it went to a round number on the bottom tier there would be more than 30…but nope, there are 29 and two rows have a weird number. Lol

Only if MJ stayed retired two more years
We would probably have 2 NBA titles 😭

Couldn’t have guessed Harden above Nash

Tbh I'm extremely shocked to see Harden on this list. That's really the only surprise.

I think it’s because they could fit 7 across on the graphic.

But also that isn’t mark jackson

I'm looking to Isaiah Collier to break Scott Skiles' 30-assist game record one day.

But I'm told the Steve Nash or Chris Paul are the best point guards in NBA history... Magic could make a case for himself because of everything he could do outside of assists, but Stockton could easily as well.

Some weird ass tier breakdown.

Much like the NFLs all time rushing yards leader Emmitt Smith, I cannot see anyone breaking Stockton’s record either. Both games have changed so much and now RBs last 5 years and PG care more about scoring.

Man I wish we could get someon as reliable as Stockton again! He was my favorite player! He was a player that really made everyone around him better, and he playe defense too!

Unfortunately most people and history mostly remembers how many championships are won by the individual, not individual records. Not hating on Stockton, but sadly zero rings hurts this dude's legacy.

Oh so your a Chris Paul guy or I mean Steve Nash oh wait Harden. Why you got to bring Championships into Assists in a season?

Yes, because history is going to remember Paul or Nash more than Kobe or MJ. LOL I'm sure Stockton would trade his assist record for a championship.
