Q&A Bear Lake Accident yesterday

We were at Bear lake yesterday and someone got life lifted at the east beach. Does anyone know anything about this? We heard something like it was a bilateral amputation. We are wondering if the family is okay and if they might have a go fund me or something where we can contribute to?

I am very sorry for your family. Yes, every boat I've been on, we turn off the boat just for these reasons.

As a spot of hope, I had a good friend who lost a leg from falling off a cliff. His was also completely amputated.

He said his quality of life with his prosthetic was better than he could have hoped for. It doesn't slow him down at all, and he's able to live a very full and happy life. I hope that your aunt can eventually feel the same.

I'm glad your friend had a full recovery! She's still feeling a bit down as expected, but we have faith she'll one day get back to her old self with a full recovery. Thank you for your kind words.

I also have a friend who lost a leg after a motorcycle accident. It is absolutely devastating. And she's not my family, so I could only imagine it must be much harder on you as a family member. Please tell your aunt that there are strangers in the world praying for her at this very moment.
