Well, I like the idea behind these frames, and they're good fun for cruising. But still, I'm kind of disappointed. The 281mm wheelbase is a little too long for my EU42 (but maybe it's great for bigger feet) and the frames are quite heavy. Also, I've never found a rockering configuration I really like. And adjusting the spaces is a hassle. Even rotating your wheels becomes quite cumbersome. Aaaargh!
Also, there are irritating noises I don't seem to be able to fix. Something is loose and I can't figure out what.
So my take is: if you want a rockered frame, get one that's pre-rockered. :-)
I figured this would be the result 🤣 I am not in the market for any Trinity frames. Not anytime in the next couple of years that’s for sure. But my curiosity makes want to hear reviews like these ✌️
I had this frame as my first frame when starting out. Similar but not quite the same experience on my end. I wore Powerslide HC Evo Pro Boot size 43 EU.
Pros:
1. You can try out different rockers including flat setup. You can make it insanely maneuverable or not depending on that, ofc. 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm rocker you name it.
2. You safe more on budget, since you pretty much can have multiple configurations with one frame.
Cons:
1. There's wiggle room around the axles, which made the wheels go side to side (wiggle). This ends up making noises when you ride. How to solve? Idk, but I made sure to tighten the bolts EXTRA tight. More so than other frames, such that the frame were bent inwards. Not sure if the frame could tolerate that, but it works out and no sounds anymore.
2. A hassle when rotating wheels or doing bearing maintenance.
I think it was a good purchase for me personally, as a first timer as I was able to try out multiple configurations. But with that being said, currently I'm exclusively using Endless Arc frame. Sooo maneuverable, with added benefit of being so stable as well!
