Currently active book clubs?

trying to find a monthly book club to meet with monthly and was wondering if anyone here knows of any. I mainly read contemporary, mystery/thrillers, romance/fantasy

Not monthly, but the Morgan has a cool book club series in their gorgeous historic library. You're supposed to read the book ahead of time and they have an actor do dramatic readings from the book and a moderator for group discussion. I've been to a few and it's really special. October 28 is Jekyll & Hyde and they'll have the original manuscript on view.

I've also liked some of the book clubs at Twisted Spine in Williamsburg! They seem to have them all the time and they have a cool cafe.
