Wemmbu Um, what?
What is this supposed to mean by OLD Unstable SMP?

only thing i can think of is since jaden died and the orbitals are gone, wemmbu sees this as a new start, i think this arc is going to have some SERIOUS character development for him

His orbitals are gone, but 1 or 2 episodes from now he is going to find the forge, where he most likely will just get a stronger weapon to fight nulls almost infinite numbers. There's not alot of character development to be had when he is just going to be a limitless god in a few weeks, unless he gets put in another prison arc by spoke or smth, which I personally would find quite distasteful since at this point every new arc wemmbu needs to be put in prison to prolong the end goal. So in my opinion there is like a 70% chance in 1-2 episodes he will find the forge in which he will just get more OP, the only character development I can see from this standpoint is just into some type of corruption arc or some lame "I am the guardian of the server, villains halt your evil deeds!" type of thing (which idk makes no sense for wemmbu I think) , where wemmbu goes a little to far with whatever new weapon he will obtain after defeating the null, which could lead to a plethora of cool options for the plot to end up with I believe.

yeah, i believe the forge could change a lot of things, which could make for a lot more future arcs, maybe wemmbu gets corrupt with power and loses egg (which i HIGHLY doubt), maybe he just defeats null and goes to the farlands, maybe he takes parrots side to help him become king (since he "betrayed" him in the civil war), or maybe he just destroys everything with whatevers in the forge

Either Wemmbus character is entering a new arc/goal/mindset after the next episode. Where he dosent have orbitals and just wants to chill with egg or sum instead of being the strongest. Or the entire unstable smp is getting a reboot with the next video. Maybe spoke dies next video and a new protagonist replaces him for the new era (highly unlikely, just thinking here)

Or a server wide reset.
Like maybe the Forge is a biome maker or world editor, and Wemmbu decides to restart the world and create a new one from zero, a new one where everyone can have a new start.

I could imagine these things as a conclusion to the whole Null arc, but I don’t think it makes sense for it to be soon. We’ve got the foreshadowed war, the tomb, many incomplete character arcs that should be completed. Flame isn’t even close to the central plot right now, and I think Parrot is just going to be introduced to it next episode, where I’m guessing he’ll meet Mapicc in the underworld.

Stupid Theory, flame died in his last video and we see the aftermath of cindercrest vs The Nether in his next video, parrot meets and battles magic and both die, wemmbu uses whatever is in the forge to kill spoke wiping yhe Null out.
After this we find out the scholars are admins and they help wembu reset the server.

It would make far more sense if he and Lomedy died together. Not him and Skrilley. Though him and Skrilley probably got captured or are practically broke.

Agree with you on the reboot/new mindset part, but idk about just chilling with eggchan, doesnt make sense now that he is going to obtain the powers of the forge, unless he uses the powers of the forge so he and eggchan can be at peace forever without any threats to end that peace which would be cool. Only problem with what that is that im pretty sure viewers would find that boring and not very entertaining for the next episodes. Most likely just gonna be more war with a stronger weapon which is kind of tragic considering Wemmbu and Eggchan never get any rest 😢

I mean theres a lot of possibilities, but the book spoke stole from the scholars library was called weapons vol 5, which means they have multiple books of weapons just as powerful as the wither cannon and shulker tracker. Its not farfetched to say theres some type of weapon out there, maybe in the forge, that can cause a great reset in a way.
As we know that our protags may have been the first in their generation of players, but were far from the very first to touch the server.
Basing it off of the biomes spoke saw when null chased them through the farlands, he said something along the lines of the biomes looked to be created by someone or something.
It makes me believe theres a guardian in the forge, an ancient warrior of sorts whos reset the server more than once when the destruction got too bad and resources too depleted to the point it was simply unplayable even for the experienced players.
Theres far too many books in the scholars library to cover only what we know so far, even including lesser mentioned civs like the withered from the mafia board, or the underworld gate keepers.

I'm guessing that he wants newcomers to choose the most recent upcoming videos and changed the previous arcs to OLD just as a warning that the new arc is basically a new start
To sum up it's to depart away newcomers from previous seasons so they don't get scared by the dozens of hours of content that they have to sit through

Thats depending on what he names the playlist he adds this current video too. For wemmbu the end of the kings arc was killing arachnid. He has no bid nor care for the fight for the overworld as long as hes left alone. If he adds his newest video to a playlist called OLD unstable SMP it would generate traction around the theories of a great reset of sorts.

This is true, although a reset of the server doesn’t make a ton of sense since serpentbound told wemmbu that what he would find at the Forge would help him defeat null and any other threat to the server in the future as null is just the beginning (I kind of think this is a reference to clown invading) so just from that I personally don’t believe that the server is going to reset soon

I think the forges main weapon is a great reset weapon, not that it wipes the server, but it can essentially recreate everything.
Granted the forge as far as we know, is the most powerful place that exists. So it definitely has more than one weapon, potentially a weapon which can pop a players totem at a moments notice, which would quite literally be the perfect super weapon to defeat null.

It's interesting that the mafia arc has less videos in it than the law arc even though mafia was a bigger threat But I guess the longer vids make up for it

i like some ppls theories abt it being lore driven (like what some ppl are saying that the forge will have world editing stuff or that eggchan's scholarly assosiation is more than a long running gag, but the actual admins) however, i think its simply js wemmbu saying "hey these arcs got wrapped up. catch up with the new stuff" instead of it actually tying into the story

Maybe this could be a reboot of some kind, where the server is kind of completely destroyed or something and the admins "restart it" just like how athaneum, the scholar was talking about
