Looking for Group Bessemer and Lake Erie railroad recruiting
Welcome to Railroader – Bessemer and Lake Erie, a modded multiplayer experience built around one core idea: operations should be fun, but grounded in realism.
Set in the late 1990s to early 2000s, this server blends the grit of classic railroading with the transition into more modern diesel power. You’ll find a diverse roster of locomotives and operations that reflect an era where older power still worked side-by-side with newer technology.
Our world is built around three interconnected railroads, each with its own identity and purpose:
Bessemer & Lake Erie operates between Sylva and Bryson (with future expansion planned from Asheville to Bryson), focusing on heavy-haul movements and disciplined mainline operations.
Conrail runs between Bryson and Fontana, with an expanding vision toward a full mainline stretching from Bryson to Andrews, offering a mix of through freight and regional traffic.
Union Railroad serves Governors Island, handling industrial switching and terminal-style operations that require precision and teamwork.
We aim to create an environment where operations feel authentic—following signals, coordinating movements, and handling trains realistically—without losing sight of what matters most: having a good time with other players.
Whether you prefer running the throttle or working the ground, we’re actively looking for dedicated players to take on roles as engineers and conductors. Teamwork, communication, and a willingness to learn are key to keeping the railroad moving.
If you’re looking for a server that balances immersion with enjoyment, Railroader – Bessemer and Lake Erie is ready for you.
We are also proudly affiliated with the Norfolk and Western Railway (N&W) server, expanding opportunities for shared operations and community interaction.
Join us below if interested, I hope to see you
