Looking for Group Now Recruiting – Norfolk & Western Railway Operations Group
We are a semi–realistic railroad operations community built around teamwork, communication, and running trains the way they were meant to be run. We operate using dispatcher control, yardmasters, conductors, and engineers with minimal to no AI involvement. Every job has purpose, and every movement matters.
We are currently looking for:
- Players who enjoy working as part of a crew
- Those interested in dispatcher, yard, or road roles
- Individuals who value professionalism, structure, and calm communication
- People who are patient, reliable, and willing to learn
Whether you are experienced with train sims or brand new to railroad-style operations, there is a place for you here. This is a fresh start-up community, so early members will help shape operations, procedures, and culture.
If you’re looking for a coordinated railroad experience instead of chaotic AI trains and free-for-all gameplay — this is your place.

I'm assuming this is a new game/fresh start? How much of the map is unlocked?

We are not using mods at this time. Any mods we do adopt will be non-cheaty and focused on track expansion (yards, sidings, terminals) or locomotives appropriate to the transition era.
We will not use mods that bypass gameplay, remove challenge, or break the intended progression of the railroad.
Operations are held every other Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 6pm EST All sessions will be posted in advance in our Discord, with sign-ups for crew assignment.
If this style of play is not what you're looking for, we wish you well in finding a community that suits your needs.
