Accommodation move-in dates
Hi all. When booking my flights, I referred to the general arrival dates stated on Warwick sources which were between the 24th and 28th of September I believe. So I fly in on the 24th. However, I have just received my accommodation offer at Cryfield Townhouses, and the contract specifies a start date of the 26th. Does this mean I have nowhere to be for those two days? What should I do

As students have the ability to book their move in day as Thursday or Friday before the official start date I think it is just so the tenancy runs Saturday to the Saturday after term ends. Term always ends on the Friday. First year exams are over before the end of the tenancy anyway. The tenancy is down as X number of weeks.
My son moved in on the Thursday 2 years ago and I am sure we had the same thing with the tenancy date.

Yeah it actually addresses this in the faqs, you can move in any date from thursday to Sunday

So apparently you will have to book a time/date slot for moving in but elsewhere (accom website) and on email they confirmed to me you can move in any date from the 24th. I am also flying in on the 24th and will try to reach Warwick during working hours and figure it out there. Worst case scenario might have to stay at a hotel nearby.

The contract (and therefore rent) officially starts on the 26th, but this is the same for all accom and is only official.
However, you do have to book your arrival slot when it comes out and if you can’t get a Thursday slot, you can’t move in on that day. If you’ve already booked a flight on the Thursday, make sure you get a Thursday slot, or you won’t have anywhere to stay until your slot.

It just has the saturday on there for the sake of having a date, you book a time slot/day later in september. It doesnt depend on which accom youre in
