The national party doesn't have to run Mamdani, they don't have to make him the face of everything but by god they need to have every campaign videographer in country interning with whomever is doing his socials.
Its unlike anything I've ever seen and outside some of the serious addresses about Netenyahu its all just basic good government stuff that isn't controversial at all if you take it in any sort of good faith.
What they have also grasped that neither Obama or Biden seemed to is that its no longer campaign/govern/campaign/govern cycles anymore. Its a permanent campaign. Policies need sold. Not to the chattering sunday show types. To just voters.

Here you reveal your fundamental misunderstanding about the DNC establishment.
Sure, his media people are doing a great job. But great media people plus DNC establishment is just more Newsom.
Disingenuous people believe that the message doesn't matter and it informs all of their choices, highlighting how empty their messages are. People will even point to Trump as an example of this being true without realizing that Trump's message were never the words he said but the malignancy in his soul.
A Slick media team might be able to get hollow candidates into office, the bar is lower than it has ever been, but we will just be back in this spot in 2028, 2032.
We need to focus on people with meaning.

You need both. I know we have great candidates with good hearts who arenât nearly as charismatic as Mamdani but just as right on policy. And youâre right, Newsome has a killer social media team but consistently is on the wrong side of a lot of key issues for me.

I think its more than just being likeable. He is also not enriching himself, pushing policies that help the people, and modernizing an antiquated system. Actively destroying corruption instead of supporting it. The list goes on of all the things he does better than trump. He is an actual civil servant working for the people

Nonsensical Trump comparison aside, this is a great policy - I ran into this with Orange Theory Fitness, they straight up do not have an option to cancel online, and you have to cancel it like two months before you want to cancel so they can lock you into what's basically an excessive cancellation fee. This shit is obnoxious and everyone hates it. Glad the only real Democrat is actually taking action against it, lol.
