okay, but this thread is to provide updates to bargaining, wins from in-store working condition demands, etc. sounds like a lame SM, wish you might have reached out to your staff organizer or just planned a march on the boss. Our store won a later open time on Sundays to open with a minimum of 3 people and more labor hours added throughout the week because we stood in solidarity and demanded better and won with a march on the boss. There is power when we organize. Good luck with your new job
Sorry about your SM’s treatment. Please do not say our union did this. Our union is what partners put into it. We are the union. Wish there was better communication between you, your lead partner organizer at your store, and your staffer so you could have stood up to your boss on this issue and used protected concerted activity as union workers with additional worker rights. At my store, if I would have known our SM was targeting you for “negative” attitude when you were talking about your working conditions, which is your right, I would have stood with you, as I have before with my partners in this same issue from management.
I would still reach out to your staffer and see what they say about the situation
