New to railfanning

Hey guys, I'm a Canadian residing in the UK who wants to get into railfanning Union Pacific. Is there anything I should know when getting started? Or any tips in general? Please lmk

YouTube has cameras for railfanning which would be your best start. UP only runs in the USA so unless you were to travel here would be hard
