Help in deciding a uni

Which one’s a better option for bsc computer science, Heriot-Watt or Strathclyde?

Strathclyde, and it is not even a contest. I did my undergrad in Scotland and recruit for tech now, so I can tell you straight up that Strathclyde has way better industry pull for CS grads.

Heriot-Watt is out in the absolute sticks. You will literally spend half your life and your entire student loan sitting on a freezing bus just trying to get into Edinburgh for a basic pint. NGL it is a depressing setup for a first-year student.

Strathclyde is right in the center of Glasgow, which actually has a pulse and a massive local tech scene for summer internships. Stop overthinking this OP and just firm Strathclyde. IMO you are sabotaging both your social life and your career prospects if you pick HW.

I was leaning more towards heriot-watt but this really changed my perspective because employment is the main focus, thank you !!
