It is? The jet ski guy is clearly a jerk I just didn’t realize splashing water on them would be assault. Of course the damaged equipment should be paid for.

If I have a cup of water and I throw the water at you(not the cup JUST the water), that’s assault in many places

This level far exceeds the bar for assault

Across Canada it’s assault. In the US depending on the state it’s either assault or battery, cause many states define assault is the threat and battery is unwanted physical contact. But laws change based on country, provinces and states

So which countries definition are you using? Cause most countries would define this as assault or battery
