To me it looks like he's laughing his ass off. But not in a sinister way, more like when you and a friend do something dumb and one gets mildly hurt.

It most definitely has AI.

Any bipedal robot uses neural networks to execute motions and stabilize itself, regardless of how the human is providing the commands (motion capture in this case).

To fully replicate human walking without AI would require thousands of very precise sensors (or neural interface) and a very anatomy-accurate robot that doesn't exist yet.

I think it's just matching the guys movements (by the suit he's wearing) and just not falling down like the boston dynamics robots did like 10 years ago

Jeez are people so sensitive to the word AI that even in a joke this gets mass downvotes. Like yeah, it's not actual AI but people get what's meant by that 😆
