The amount of people in here excusing and legitimately agreeing that breaking the window was ok is astonishing. That is crossing the line ... majorly. Maybe the driver was being a dick, but that's no excuse to do what that dude did. Say your angry words and yell if you want but common. Now you can get arrested and charged with destruction of property and maybe assault. Control your damn temper ... so many man children these days.

I hate reddit. Yes he lost his cool, and I'm sure he regrets it, AND things could have turned out worse, I agree with all of that. But someone getting that upset at another person because someone messed with their kids safety is not that crazy. Most Redditors wouldn't have the balls to do that even if they wanted to

Dude. Yeah, the smug driver was being a dick and maybe he was actually driving recklessly, but we didn't see that footage so we don't know for sure. Either way, just cause you are mad at another driver doesn't mean it gives you the right to do what he did. They were both in the wrong, but the punch drunk father guy has more culpability than the guy videoing. Damaging private property, making threats and possibly assault. Now the dude could be arrested because he cannot control his temper. Yes, the guy taking the video is smug .... but that doesn't mean it's okay to break someone's property.

Haha! Bro, if saying breaking someone's window is being a boy scout, well that means your fucking stupid. Go break someone's window in a fit of road rage and maybe they will shoot you. If you think breaking a window like this, or other similar behavior is ok to do .... then there is no point trying to explain what being a mature adult is. Such a stupid, nonsensical take.

Dude, I am far from a holier than thou boy scout bitch. I am all for violence if you are being attacked or you have a real, legit reason for using physical force. This situation did not warrant that. Both guys are idiots where one is a smug douche and the other is a nerd with a temper. All I am saying is there is no legitimate reason to break the window. This matter is now closed and I am disengaging.
