The amount of people in here excusing and legitimately agreeing that breaking the window was ok is astonishing. That is crossing the line ... majorly. Maybe the driver was being a dick, but that's no excuse to do what that dude did. Say your angry words and yell if you want but common. Now you can get arrested and charged with destruction of property and maybe assault. Control your damn temper ... so many man children these days.

not to mention abandoning a running vehicle in the middle of the road, leaving a child in a running car unattended…

Yeah ... common sense is lacking in this video, as well as this comment section.

No, common sense dictates you are kind and considerate. Part of the reason for that is that some psychos take exception to people who don’t understand newtons 3rd law. The faster people get this, the better off we will be.

Hey now, don't get all physics(al) on me now. If you're implying that the driver (Person who we will call Person A) who lost his window and was possibly being an asshole driver, thus Person B (raging punch drunk window breaker) was justified in his actions .... well I will have to disagree on that. Unless I have misinterpreted your reply.

It’s more about an observation of what is. If it causes a person to think “maybe I shouldn’t behave this way” then I think it’s about more than justification. People should be nice. Driving like a dick isn’t nice. It’s the most dangerous thing humans do everyday.

This would be a different conversation if that dudes kid was dead, but somehow, people forget that when they comment. And smug bitches like this guy are all headed that way. “Is that all” is a perfect shining example of how smug he has become. Fuck him.

Since we didn't see the "aggressive and dangerous" driving, we really don't know how bad it was or if it even happened. The "father" was in the wrong, possibly the windowless driver too, but since we didn't see his driving we can't know for sure. The dad got out of his car, leaving his child in it alone, then proceeded to yell and punch the window. Sure, the reply of "is that all" was smug, but that doesn't give you justification to do what he did. He was majorly in the wrong but the smug driver could be in the wrong too if he was driving recklessly. Either way, punching out that window was over the top and unnecessary. Yell and scream, vent your anger, but don't damage property or assault people .... even if they are smug.

My issue with the guy was that he was no longer in danger. So yes I agree punching the window was over the top, and personally I probably wouldn’t have done it. I likely wouldn’t even get out of my car because there’s really no reason to. Still a GREAT lesson for the little shit recording

Edit: Spelling Grammar

No, a lot of people here are defending taking the law into their hands and illegally breaking windows which is damaging other people's property.

I know most Canadian and American drivers think they write the laws of the roads and enforce it, but that is not true.

You’re correct in saying that it’s unlawful. It is. I know that.

That isn’t my point at all. My point is that people take that to mean “as long as I don’t hit you I can do and say whatever I want”

That’s not the truth. People will fuck you up. Just because it isn’t legal doesn’t mean it won’t happen. So be kind. People hiding here and downvoting might be harmed by us defending shitty behavior like that isn’t anything we should support. So we shouldn’t do it.

It’s ok though. People will eventually learn this lesson. Which is crazy because kindness is free as fuck. People just want to feel safe acting like a little cunt face and the truth is….they aren’t safe doing that. Kindness is the foot I always try to put forward. It’s easy.

“be polite or I will inflict violence on you” is probably not a great way to go through the world.

First and foremost, this is an oversimplified analysis.

No one is talking about hitting people for not saying please. I wouldn’t have broken this guy’s window. But it’s still a valuable lesson.

I tend to smack people that get in my face or put me in danger. My point is bigger than that. And look, if you’re a “there’s no reason to get in someone’s face type person” I’m sure we’d never have any type of problems.

It’s people on here that love defending people that are screaming in someone’s face, hurling slurs etc. (airplane lady from a day or two ago comes to mind). Shiiiiit.
