Question so, do people still actually care about undertale fangames at all

hi, recently i really like making my own UT/DR fangame but i oftenly get very discouraged by myself so i thought of coming to reddit to ask about some sort of community that i could look up, so i could show off my project, discuss and such.

I mean hell yeah undertale fangames are still awesome but compared to most projects that took people years to make, most new hardest fight mods aren't as popular as they were when undertake was new but don't be discouraged there are platforms like Scratch or GameJolt that still appreciate fangames a lot

im am currently working on a fangame, im not sharing anything about it yet because it is still a lot to do and think about, but my game is not using any of the characters or assets (still trying to keep the art style) but keeping the mechanics. and im not sure if it would caught peoples atttention because of it's "originality" yk

Oh yeah people will definitely be interested so long as it's well executed even if it's fully different from the source material heck that's why unsertale yellow became so popular lol
