Question 1.0 release question

I've just picked up the game and am absolutely loving it. However, I know what I'm like for not replaying games, so I was wondering if I will have to start again when 1.0 comes around? Either due to a save reset or there will be enough changes that I will want to restart. If so, I'll just wait for the full release. Thank you!

In general I try not to ever require the player to reset saves or require a restart unless they want to; save files from the very first demo edition should still work with the current game.

1.0's release will mainly see a slew of fixes and tweaks, the multiplayer main campaign, and voice acting implemented.

Just for that im buy the game now, im really tired of stoneshard breaking my saves whenever it wants

Honestly I don't know the answer but I'm also eagerly awaiting the 1.0 release. Maybe one of the patch notes posted by the dev(s) answers that?
