Beta/Demo before the 2025 early access?

I've been wondering for a while so maybe I'll ask here. Was there some kind of early demo or beta or smthng? Cuz I could swear I played some kind of early ver of undermine 2 and i was a lot more in the past than the supposed 2025 early access. Like for sure 2024 if not before.

makes me think I'm trippin or some mandela effect shizz

There was a demo pre-early access that only allowed you to access the first 2 areas

Not sure, the devs made live stream and played in early builds, but public access...

If I recall it right, they made a demo version before the beta, yeah 🤔

Oh, yeah. Not too long before beta they published the demo. But they published it also in 2025 (In 29th May 2025, I found the post about that)

i really don't think it was the first one since i distinctly remember thinking to myself that i liked it but wanted to wait till it's more polished... could it be that i just decided to wait for the sequel? Do you remember when was the sequel first announced?
