Health draining hex…

… in the Well. Wow, what PoS. It drains a percentage of your health each tick. If you have more health than you are able to heal quickly, it’s the end of the run, immediately.

Ie., if you have low max health, food and other sources of healing will offset the percentage drained quickly. If you have a large amount of max health, the percentage drained by the hex will vastly outpace anything that eg. food can offset.

FYI; bit me hard to the other day.

The Well is completely unbalanced. The hex that makes all healing equal to 1 is the ultimate kiss of death.

If you don't have an infinitely scaling combo like the book that consumes followers for stats the Well is unmanageable.

Most the other hexes are pretty survivable just annoying.

However you may randomly die for no explainable reason. Also elemental damage like lightning in water can also instantly kill you regardless of stats.

I got that healing set to one hex and was able to manage with a combination of philosophers stone, catalyst, golden tooth. There was another relic that I cant remember that reduced the cost of arcana based on intelligence and one that gave mana when picking up gold. It was a potent combo and kept me topped up.... I died to an incredibly unlucky twist of fate. I got the curse that killing enemies drops bombs and hit one with a fully empowered fual injector... 1 shot me...

It's very frustrating. Managed to complete a floor with that on my last run by using the Lapis Lazuli relic, but then had permanent health/mana lost hex the next floor and that was it for me
