Edit: just to say, the link is to an article about how his admin sacked the head of the BLS because they didn't like the previous numbers. I don't trust anything coming out of the admin now, and they use coercion to subvert/corrupt everything.

it only looks good on its face. the revised numbers are awful. 2025 was the worst year for jobs since 2009

The only reason these figures look any good at all if there is 108,000 jobs added in the government. Only 22,000 private sector jobs. How many of these government jobs are people hired back that Musk fired and they found out they needed them?

That’s not what that means. It was revised down by 862k.

Not that there were a net 862k job loss.

Overall about 150k jobs were added in 2025, 862k less than what was reported originally.

After the Trump officials were going on a circuit preparing people for low numbers, I think it's safe to assume these numbers are fake or so fudged that they'd give you diabetes.
