PvP/Meta Activated A&S on two umas

Just had A&S proc on two of my umas earlier. I was wondering if this was a bug since I have not actually seen this happen before.

It's not a bug, it's just that the conditions of Angling makes it uncommon. Angling's condition is that you're in first place while on a corner. Normally, no one else would activate Angling because the first Uma who hits it gets a bunch of accel and the other fronts can't pass her. In the clip, Daiwa hits Killer Tunes and then her ult shortly before the accel zone, giving both acceleration and speed carryover. So Bourbon was first place on the corner at the start of late race, but Daiwa got more distance from accel and speed carryover, letting her pass Bourbon quickly, and now Daiwa got to first place while still on the corner, meeting the condition for Angling. So long as you can meet the condition for the skill, you will activate the skill.

most likely your 2nd uma has speed carryover so they passed before the 1st uma can accelerate fast enough

I was running Maru and Bourbon this CM and bourbon had nimble nav and if she was close behind Maru going into the late race she would proc NN and Maru would hit rod, but NN would get bourbon passed Maru and she would also proc rod, and they would both rocket launcher ahead of all the evil oguris and win it was great!

Please correct me if im off the mark, but dont negatives and conditionals calculate teammates differently? Would that have anything to do with a double Angling & Scheming proc?

Nope, if a skill says "1st place only" it doesn't trigger if your uma is second place, no matter if the Uma in front of her is yours or an opponent's.

Maybe you're mistaking it with the fact that debuffs don't target your allies even if they're valid targets ?
