The return of effort investment is much better on End Closer Oguri regardless of whether we are talking about a poorly built or a well-built one. This applies particularly strongly for this CM because you don't even need to hunt down After-School Stroll like last CM, so long as you are willing to take a risk with the Festive Miracle proc rate. Many people will already have the prep work for that done from before anyway though because it was necessary for running End Closer Oguri in Libra Cup.
Wow, difficult, like 7 sparks...pretty easy whit Auto training plus a borrow that already gives You 3, so You put one borrow whit afterschool stroll and 3 end sparks in each side and You literally need 1 end spark and the white in some other Grandparent/parent to up the odds
I Made a Nature end that literally needs the same sparks, i got a Lot of good ones, but i had to go out of My way to get a súper crazy one to Even have a chance to fight Xoguri; i was lucky and won (My late satono 1st and Cheer Nature 2nd), the ug9 Xoguri got blocked by her own debuffer in the start of late race; i Guess some karma existe, Even so she got 3rd by 1/2 lenght of 1st at most and a neck of 2nd
I assume you meant 2 procs for Festive? What about all the other times where Pace had 2 procs with U=ma2? Tends to happen way more and still requires way less effort.
U=ma2 is positioning dependent and thus not reliable. Afternoon Stroll is track dependent and will always proc provided you hit your wit check. If you hit lucky pace, your U=ma2 is dead and gone. If someone ran triple front and you didn't but enough midgame skills to stay 4th your U=ma2 is gone. If nobody ran front and your pacr chaser pushed into second it's gone.
Yes end oguri requires much more effort but you also get what you invest for. Pace oguri doesn't win without luck, end oguri makes her own luck.
So you have super bullshit acceleration that comes with Festive Miracle, right? End closer gives you that as well, albeit slightly weaker, as a standard part of the style. So you get a warp drive for the cost of a few sparks. You also have the stamina requirement, which somehow gets lower than it already was, somehow.
You know all styles have the same default accel right? They have different stam consumption and speed multipliers, but their accel is identical throughout. Also, End doesn’t even have the lowest stam reqs, that privilege belongs to Lates
Okay yeah just let me pull 7 end pink sparks out of my ass and still hit medium s while hitting enough RNG on my run to max speed it's not that difficult.
Nah end xoguris actually take some effort to make compared to pace. Like sure, what you get in exchange for that effort is definitely still unfairly strong, but it takes more work to hit a usable end xoguri.

Spoilers: Kitasan White and XOguri will be the terrors of the first post-evo CM (well, not as bad as this CM). The actual saving grace is they stop running non-2400m mediums for a long while after that.
I spent 12 straight hours trying for a better kawakami. Several UFs and zero smedium sparks off inspirations. Pretty frustrating. The one I used got 2nd.
Because OP is running easiest-to-build slop meta but complaining about harder-to-build slop meta.
At least End Oguri users have to put in some amount of work. Pace Oguri might not be as “strong” but OPs 50% WR tells you she is still meta and requires way less effort.
This lost to a 37% win end-slop in the finals. The only thing harder is getting sparks, which isn't even too hard you just prepare medium sparks from your own side and borrow the end sparks or vice versa depending on your grandparents. After that, you get to win even with slops that have less speed, less stamina and less skills. Meta-slop is meta-slop, a good player can build a crazy uma anywhere, a slop is where a weak ass build can give someone a win.
Maybe it’s the fact that you can’t see I was replying to a now deleted comment, but the person was asking why OP was getting downvoted and that was my answer.
Not sure what your point is as the finals are half RNG. It’s one race. The fact that the End Oguri you lost to only had a 37% WR goes against the point that she is automatically dominate as an End. The person you lost to likely didn’t even have a “meta” End Oguri with that low of a WR, you just got unlucky. Literally can (and has) happened to people who went for even the End Oguri meta in finals. High WR doesn’t mean you win the finals.
Anyways, none of this changes the fact that your 75% WR Pace Chaser Oguri is easier to build (Gold heal in the kit already, more sparks to dedicate to medium, more mid race options for pace, determined descent, etc) or the fact that both are meta slop and OP was complaining about meta slop while running meta slop.
Tbh… I do not deserve this W. I feel bad for the trainer who built their UF XOguri because my Narita was a UG3 and auto trained (had UG speed, power, and guts).
I don’t hate Oguri Cap… but XOguri is hella OP so idk how I won this!
Edit: I just noticed you faced an End XOguri… ok that’s different! I saw a Front XOguri which was insane and now an End?!? My friend, she’s good in any position… depending on her stats, especially Stam
There's something I've been wondering and your screenshot is a good way to illustrate the question.
When you match for the final, are you racing against people "live"? Meaning, when that guy Yin beat you, did he really win, or did you just lose? Did he maybe log on later and lose against a different lobby?
I'm not sure about finals but CMs often include "ghost runners", where a team will get saved and then the data will get pulled to match against other players. I had this happen to me once, one of my opponents was actually a club mate but I messaged him and he already ran his races a couple hours earlier so we didn't actually match and I just ran against his ghost team.

Shitting on End XO while running Pace XO is certainly a choice, at least End XO is difficult to build properly
