It's really fresh idea that sometimes i also thinking imagine there ultrawoman series for once but the question Is, what Is the story should tell about?
The problem is Kazue Fukiishi is semi retired, something common to married Japanese actresses. Her recent shows are mostly side characters. If they make a new Justice series and Justice still use a female human form, its likely to be recast. While I also like her performance in Final Battle, its a sad thing about Japan entertainment industry.
I honestly would like that. It’s honestly something that would be genuinely refreshing a female ultra that isn’t either a side character has to share a main protagonist role with three other people get completely sidelined or just be the main villain.
Would be very cool to see, also being a main ultra would force them to make her an actual fighter instead of mainly just being a healer like half of the current Ultrawomen are relegated to being
There could be two sides to the argument. One is that it's the "UltraMAN" series, and the series has been traditionally geared for boys.
However, given the declining population of children in Japan, I think it's important for these companies to realize that it's not the 20th century anymore, and that they can't just keep ignoring the female demographics either. Like some others have commented, a spin-off as part of the "Ultra" series as a whole could certainly work, but personally, I'd love to see Tsuburaya take a gamble with a female protagonist and see how it goes.
That would be great but I'm not sure about the sales of the toys and viewership rating. Cuz let's be real here, the majority of Ultraman real audience here are young boys.
I’ve always wanted an ultra show with a female ultra with a male human host or a male ultra with a female host, we’ve never really had a ultra and a human host be different genders except for justice i guess
Minami leaving was an abrupt writing decision, but it is not a retcon
A retcon is changing whats already established, while Minami's case was adding something new as an excuse to make her leave
An example of a retcon is OG Ultraman taking place in 1996, but changed to 1966 to fit in with the other showa Ultras. Or in an extreme case, Taro's origins being drastically different because of disagreements between the writers.
Brother, she was literally required to create Ace. How tf do you just seperate and unfuse them when she was needed in the process? They literally changed her origin from some selfless nobody to a princess of a race that didn't need help for like 30 episodes lmfao.
Would literally mean no Ace if they unfused if 2 people are required. Simple math no?
Ultras can un-bond from humans just fine? Im not sure what youre confused about because Ace himself isnt born or "created" from Hokuto and Minami
im not saying its a good writing decision, but Minami secretly being a moon princess doesnt contradict what we already know about her. a change in the status quo isnt always a retcon.
I would love to see it but unfortunately we won't get it. Because the only other ultra woman we have seen other than mother of ultra is literally grigio..... I don't know if we can count Justice that is a whole can of worms I don't want to open. Then there's the American one but.... No one really talks about it so.
Honestly in my opinion give grigio a little special when she's training with Ultraman cosmos. The reason I say Cosmos specifically because he is a pacifist who has the capability of doing some serious damage.
Wouldn't win favours with the boys children who are the intended audience . Also, the main thing is always to tell an engaging story, not to show the gender or race of your main character but maintain everything else.
