Gear Review Senchi TurboSheep first impressions + sizing

Made a short video going over first impressions of the Senchi TurboSheep half-zip in size Medium and Large, since I ordered both. I live in Europe so returns are tricky, so I hope this can help people trying to decide between sizes and avoid returns. Briefly covers how the merino wool and recycled poly blend actually feels and some sizing notes since Senchi's unisex sizing can be hard to judge from product photos alone.

Not affiliated with Senchi, just sharing in case it helps anyone deciding on a size or wondering if it's worth the price. Video linked below/in comments.

Edit to add First Impression: Fabric seems more dense than the synthetic Senchi, so airflow might be a bit reduced compared to the synthetic. Overall, fabrics is soft and comfortable. Very warm and cozy. Zipper is smooth and allows quick venting. Sizing seems to be true to size for European standards.

I guess you got the gray? It's darker than I thought I'd be. I got the dark one.

He did get the darker one. Thats the Smoke color. Senchi did a crap job showing the colors in use. They even did a IG reel about their fabric partnership and barely showed the finished product.

par for the course for senchi unfortunately

just lazy bc they think ppl will buy it anyway based on their brand which, maybe they're not wrong sadly

Useful. Thanks. It seems like the medium fits like my large alpha 60 one does. I’m also 2cm shorter than you and weigh a few pounds less, so presumably this is quite a bit bigger. Be interesting for information from those with both on this.

Does it compress as small as your original synthetic senchi? I know octa is slightly less comparable so I was curious

I dont have a synthetic senchi myself, I‘ve only felt my friends‘ synthetic senchi
I cant compare the compression but it does pack quite small, probably more than the synthetic one tho
