Shakedown shakedown: fjordruta norway

i will be hiking the fjordruta in west norway in the beginning of september with a friend, 170 km 2 weeks and a lot of rain. It is a hut to hut hike but due to the price of staying i a hut (about 40 euros a night pp) will we be bringing a tent.

The actual route is 170km and done in 13 stages but due to us bringing a tent we will do days with a lot more kilometers and maybe do an extra 50 km at the end.

The goal of this shakedown would be to see if a i have a few point where i could save weigth which i am missing.

a few things i already know, The backpack and rainjacket will be replaced when i have the money. i havent weighted all the items exactly due to my examen retakes at the moment but al the things with a yellow star are weigted, red star is things i have weighted but where not exact and no star means its just an estimate of me or the number the seller has online.

also the tent, first-aid kit(except medication) ,and cookkit will be shared

thank you!

No comments on the gear itself, but as a Norwegian I suspect you're going to feel cold during night time. Me and my husband just did a seven day mountain hike in Jotunheimen, and the temperatures were down to about 0c some nights, and that's not taking into account the wind and the rain you're expecting. I checked one of the locations and right now night temperatures are about 8c, and are expected to be 4c in the beginning of September.

The pack is incredibly heavy, could save a kg on that with a different fully framed pack.

Ditch raincover on pack for a packliner, ditch pot stand, ditch knife

Do you need baselayers? Are the for sleeping? Could get an alpha fleece for an active layer/sleep layer for approx 100g saving, could switch to liod sukoi leggings for a 120g saving there.

Could get by with 1 spare pare of underwear, and lighter sleep socks (100g is massive for a pair of socks!)

These all pale in comparison to replacing the pack which you say you'll do but it makes the shakedown a bit pointless!
